If you run an optometry practice, you already know — clinical expertise is only part of the job.
Between patient care, documentation, staff management, insurance, compliance, technology, and staying current with new treatments and products, your time is constantly divided. And while patient education is one of the most powerful tools for improving outcomes and retention, it’s often the first thing sacrificed to time constraints.
That’s where Perspective Docs comes in.

I’m Caitlin Wise, an optometrist with over a decade of clinical experience, and I built Perspective Docs to solve a problem I experienced firsthand: the gap between what we explain in the exam room and what patients actually retain.
Perspective Docs is more than a template shop. It’s a structured patient education system — a growing library of doctor-developed, Canva-editable resources designed to integrate seamlessly into real-world clinical workflows. Each piece is built from actual exam room conversations and designed to improve clarity, consistency, and follow-through.
Before founding Perspective Docs, I spent years immersed in digital content creation through my blog, Cuts and Crumbles. Since 2016, I’ve developed expertise in website design, SEO, and digital marketing — skills that now inform every resource I create. The result is patient education that is clinically accurate, visually elevated, and strategically structured.
My goal is simple:
To help independent practices communicate more effectively, protect valuable chair time, and build stronger long-term patient relationships.
You can access the growing education library through membership or purchase individual resources as needed. For practices seeking something tailored, signature design services are also available.
Because patient education shouldn’t end at the exam chair — and it shouldn’t depend on reinventing the wheel every time.
